Nos vemos!
We are moving,
but be my friends certain that we...
already packed what is part of we!
Lots of old photos and lots of broken links,
of sites and chains is what I mean.
A big box of tubes filled with holes,
and the many thorns collected by those.
Broken spokes, same as broken illusions,
CO2, glueless patchs and many sorts of cycling solutions.
Packed my dirt and blood stained jerseys,
kept my band aids and obsolete maps,
kept in my books, many gloves an my bike racks,
and some skin I left over rocks and tree bark.
Be my friends certain that at this old age,
I will try to make no new mistakes,
because in my seat bag I always place,
a meter or two of this invention called...
Duct Tape.
I push it all hard inside my seat bag,
and went on pedaling in the Granny gear.
Followed the doctor's recipe for assuring good time,
and filled those tubes with a dose of Slime.
Many of my friends wave me goodbye,
while I went downhill singing...
La Borinqueña...
to our new Home!
